Right to left ... parsley, parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme, basil, basil. Two bought from Deluca's and the rest rescued from the fast-dying garden of a friend. Remember those sudden flurries ....?
Even in our tiny apartment, we can't seem to let go of our herbs. The plus side of it is that these plants are actually thriving here, where in the Philippines they'd live for a little while and slowly die off because they weren't meant for such tropical heat!
Herbs are quite pricey in the grocery store. In fact the cost of one live basil plant costs the same as a packet of the plucked stuff anyway.
It's a challenge looking for fresh herb plants here. Probably because we don't know where to look yet!
