More animal-shaped breads from JiPan

I am totally smitten by a bakeshop/restaurant called JiPan. I've raved about it before, highlighting their delicious and freshly baked pastries and breads.

Here's my photo of the turtle who tastes great with milk or tea. The turtle has a melon-tasting shell. Bite in and you get a mild chocolate filling!

Now for a custard-filled crab! It's a little doughier than the turtle but the custard isn't as sweet as I expected. It's got a more cream cheese taste to it, but "fluffier". The eyes are raisins, if you can't tell.

I'm likely to rave rave about JiPan again soon (after this one). So go check Jipan out. Best go 30 minutes before closing and get everything at half price!
