Yeah, I know that against “real” Guinness, this really couldn't compare. But it’s what I’ve heard here and there among friends and acquaintances. This beer is the rough equivalent of the dark lager of Irish fame.It doesn't hurt to say a few nice words about a Filipino product. If you want to try a San Miguel beer, and you’re not really the beer-type person, I’d suggest you try Cerveza Negra. I think this Spanish translates to Dark Drink.
What I like about it is it’s caramelly and isn’t too bitter. And it looks so atypically un-beery. So be on the look out for its dark bottle and the gold label on your next drinking spree.
