Shame on you!

I first read about the Philippine Daily Inquirer "borrowing" a foodie blog photo of yema sometime November 2005. Foodies aptly raised a fuss. Sadly, little happened in the legal realm. A half-hearted apology was all that came of it. On the plus side, it got people talking about the haziness of copyrights on the blogosphere. And it underscored the fact that stealing is wrong, no matter how "free" the blogosphere may be.

Philippine press strikes again! The victim: Santos of Scent of Green Bananas. Her beautiful photos apparently caught the eye of those on F&B World, a food and beverage magazine in Manila. Read about this blatant stealing of her photo. Raise a fuss, people. Raise a fuss, because you could be next.
